Meet Courtney John

Courtney John is a multi-talented artist known for his distinct sound, production abilities, and songwriting skills. His music has been featured in numerous films and commercials worldwide, including the Axe/Lynx campaigns, Jon Favreau's critically acclaimed “Chef,” the Oscar-winning film “Still Alice,” and Amazon's “Sneaky Pete.” His music has also amassed nearly 30 million streams on Spotify.

 

Throughout his career, Courtney has collaborated with some of Jamaica's biggest names, contributing to chart-topping hits for artists like Kardinal Offishall, Kreesha Turner,  Mr. Vegas, Beenie Man, Marcia Griffiths, and Culture. He also wrote and produced the infectious "Can't Stop a Man" by Beres Hammond.

As a performer, Courtney's albums have produced several worldwide Top Ten singles, including "I Go Crazy," "When You Say," and "Lucky Man." He has consistently produced successful albums for a diverse range of urban and mainstream artists, creating global chart-topping singles such as Nelly Furtado's "Turn Out the Lights" and "Say It Right." Additionally, Courtney is featured on Sly & Robbie's 2011 Grammy-nominated album, "The One Pop Reggae."
